First Showcases Announced

We are delighted to announce a series of high profile record label and magazine live music showcases that will be taking place as part of this years event.

The showcases will take place alongside the legendary In The City Unsigned programme and will present both new and established artists across the city - giving Manchester a true city-based festival.

In The City 2008 will take place on October 5th, 6th and 7th, at The Midland hotel in Manchester England and at venues across the city.

REGISTRATION

Keynotes announced so far include Culture Secretary Andrew Burnham MP, legendary Rolling Stones manager and ITC guest host Andrew Loog Oldham, iconic photographer Kevin Cummins and the much celebrated film director Dick Carruthers. Many more speakers and bands will be announced over the coming weeks…

DISPLAY STANDS AVAILABLE AT THE MIDLAND HOTEL

We are pleased to announce that for the first time in a number of years, In The City will have a limited number of exhibitors on the main concourse at the Midland Hotel. Stands will be on the ground floor of the hotel in the main lobby and primary bar area, offering fantastic profile throughout the entire convention.

DEMO SUBMISSIONS NOW OPEN

ITC are pleased to announce that demo submissions are now open. Bands who wish to submit a demo for consideration can either send a demo (minimum of three tracks), biog and photo to the ITC office, or alternatively visit the ITC website – checking www.inthecity.co.uk - and use our new online submission system.
