Well, we’ve announced some late, late additions to our stellar panel line-up.
On Monday 6th October, Dirty Pretty Things’ Carl Barat and Reverend And The Makers’ Jon McClure will join Peter Hook, Steve White and more on the ‘Importance Of Being Idols’ panel – which addresses the dumbing down of the use of the word celebrity and how to stay creative at the same time.
In addition Ted Cohen, chairman of Tag Strategic and digital legend, will lead a panel rounding up that day’s digital theme. Alongside a group of the day’s earlier panellists, Ted will summarise the ITC Digital Session and discuss the future of all things digital.
Finally filmmaker extraordinaire Dick Carruthers will be showing exclusive never-before-seen ‘outside of the edit suite’ footage from the private and exclusive Oasis gig he recently shot in front of 100 fans at Black Island Studios during his eagerly-anticipated keynote at ITC.
Ted Cohen, Carl Barat and Jon McClure join a list of high-profile speakers keynotes set to appear at ITC 2008 including: guest host and former Rolling Stones manager Andrew Loog Oldham, Sire Records founders Seymour Stein and Richard Gotterher, Warners legend Lyor Cohen and Big Life founder Jazz Summers, the UK Culture Secretary Andy Burnham MP, iconic music photographer Kevin Cummins, legendary filmmaker Dick Carruthers, the incomparable Jarvis Cocker, Web 2.0 prophet Eric Garland and grime icons Wiley and Bless Beats
